Stakeholder Engagement

PanAust is in regular communications with its stakeholders. We comply with the obligations imposed by the Australian Securities Exchange and the Corporations Act 2001 regarding the provision of regular updates on the progress of the Company and its projects. Furthermore, the Company is committed to responding rapidly to shareholder enquiries.

The Company also endeavours to maintain an ongoing and open dialogue with the communities in which it operates. To this end, the position of General Manager External Affairs exists at Senior Management level.

The External Affairs department is in regular contact with the local communities with which the Company has contact, and discusses with them the potential impacts associated with its operations, and assesses requests for infrastructure, education and training received from local communities. Also, the Company commissions community surveys to assess the impacts of the Company's operations on the local communities.

The General Manager External Affairs is also responsible for liaison with government representatives. Any issues which need to be resolved are discussed via consultation between representatives from the local community, local and central governments and the General Manager External Affairs.
