Environmental Stewardship
PanAust is committed to best practice in environmental management as well as to continuous improvement of its environmental management procedures and systems. Guidelines and procedures regarding the Company's operations in Laos are included in its Environmental and Social Management and Monitoring Plan (ESMMP), lodged with the Government of Laos. The ESMMP is updated each year to reflect changes in the Company's operations and adjustments to its environmental management systems.

It is recognised that environmental excellence is an integral component of any efficient, successful and sustainable business. As such, the Company is committed to the pursuit of 'best practice' in environmental management and to achieving the highest standards of environmental performance.
PanAust's commitment to responsible environmental management reflects its sensitivity to the needs and expectations of stakeholders. Through its Sustainability Policy, the Company aims to promote a culture of environmental and social responsibility amongst its employees and contractors.
